    75% owned by insiders

So who loses if the share price retreats? I am just wondering why the price increase with low volume and small float. I haven't a clue really but could it be insiders buying up what they can in anticipation of taking this private?

    • First of if it decreases people that own part if the 3 million shares like me will lose -:(

If you have a look at the volume for the last years you ll see that for evk this is a very high volume.

No need for the management to spend money buying shares....they can decidi to go private when they want, remember that they own more than 10 million voting shares....

People buying shares in anticipation of a share price increase is more likely in my opinion.

      • Jack, Points taken. However, if insiders know that EVK may be courted at a premium, the more shares they own, the more THEY will profit. They have the numbers to do whatever they please...including clearing the table. And yes, the volume is high but only relative to EVK trading history, NOT to the total number of shares or even the float. There cannot be very many retail shareholders and those there are, probably have been for a while. So are they suddenly trading with each other or selling to new owners? I too have held Ks of shares of EVK for years, waiting for this move. My question is, WHY now?
