Peterson was on Fox Business a little while ago in an interview with Liz Claman. He made 3 statements that stood out. He said that KOG is currently producing 35-40k barrels per day. He did not specify barrels of crude or boe/d. Second, regarding downspacing, he said KOG is doing "above 12" wells per dsu. We are aware of the current 12-well tests, but I'm wondering if he was referring to those or something else. Finally, he said that he believes Syria is causing a 5-10 dollar premium on the cost of oil. Couple that with his statement in a recent presentation that KOG will be adding more hedges, and I would imagine KOG is currently adding hedges we are not aware of yet.
The current Kodiak DSU's have 3 wells staggered in each the 1st bench & the second bench of the 3-forks........CLR has drilled a number of wells in this area in the "3rd bench~3 forks" with IP's around 1000 barrels per day..........its a no~brainer that kog will be soon in the "3rd bench~3 forks" with their DSU's....for "at least" 15 wells per 1280 acre spacing........in the short term
