The AAMRQ to AAL Conversion Mystery Reminds Me of When Softbank Bought Out SPRINT Shares and...
...S shareholders who took the "new" Sprint shares got screwed on the conversion and taking cash was the way to go. And as with AAMRQ, it was never clear for S shareholders what the best deal would be before the Softbank merger.
Me thinks it is best to just SELL AAMRQ now if you've already got a 2, 3, or 4 etc. bagger and not be too greedy or worry about how many AAL shares you will receive, and when (30, 60, 90, 120 days?)
I can see the crooks finding a way to "sell the news" and dropping LCC shares significantly to screw AAMRQ shareholders in the conversion.
