    • Profit takers, IMO. This is a stock I really like. Information comes from many places. In my case, I received an e-mail from my daughter in Zurich. She had met an elderly gentleman in a book store. He was in a cheery mood, as he'd just sold all the outdoor advertising in Zurich and environs to Clear Channel Outdoors.

He told my youngest he was going to buy a lot of Joy Global. I purchased some shares after doing my DD. It all looked good..and we made a tidy profit getting in at $49+... riding it up to $90 and over. That was Spring of 2010..we held for a year and the wait paid off Now, it seems to have resurfaced and people are buying.

I would suggest anyone with a cultivated knack for patience to get in. IMO, this is a good $65 to $70 stock at the very least. As Robert mentions in this excellent article..JOY looks good for the long haul. I agree 100%. Johnny / San Antonio

      • "2:34 PM Joy Global (JOY) carries P/E and price-to-book ratios at five-year average lows, and slack global demand has been priced into the stock, earning praise from AAII's Charles Rotblut as his "buy of the week." JOY is a "very fundamentally sound company," he says; if it returns to its average P/E of 14.7, “we’re looking at 65% upside” - sufficient reason for investors to be patient."
