Does anyone follow this stock? I see on Fidelity account that there have been some upgrades. I just can't imagine with the dividend coming this December that this stock does not trade higher. The balance sheet is like perfect. Plenty of free cash flow. Tons of insider ownership. On paper, this is a great company that gets no repsect. Fidelity and Royce are in it - great funds. I don't get it. Anyone out there have a thought or two? Will the real Chase Corp (not the bank) please stand up! Sometimes, I think people really buy and sell this if it were the bank!
Excellent points. I really like this company. As financial sound as I have seen a balance sheet for market cap like this. GLL
This quarter should be very soft as was last quarter. The company is very cyclical and ships internationally. Japan and mid east and now China are very weak and this will hit Q3. I would wait until Q4 to buy stock. There is no insider buying also the CEO pays himself 10% of profits--not exactly fair to shareholders.
There will also be a lot of tax loss selling as everybody who bot this year has a significant loss. This will go on until year end.
Thanks for all your comments. Keeps getting cheaper! Just bought some more. Dividend coming! It is nice to see investors that understand the company. I agree on this bring a BUY!
My own analysis agrees with your summary assessment. This company is a gem and I consider it a core holding in my small cap portfolio. It's good to see others agree with your positive comments.
It's also a great stock for disciplined trading. Buy it after the shorts have driven it to a bargain price, then take their money when they rush to cover.
This is a steal at this price this company is solid and financially solid as a rock. It is getting a bad rap from the economy. This company is a survivor. Good Products established history, progrssive management team. Ofcouse dedicated employees. How do I know this I had the honor of working for them for 20 years.
What do you think of the Serviwrap purchase? Was it a steal?
What's the likelihood of chase pipeline products being used in the Utica and Marcellus Shale projects?
Will a potential fracking ban in Ohio (like the holdup in NY state) have a material impact on assumed future sales? Or is this not even priced in? From the looks of things, nothing is priced in and it gets dumped when funds are called for redemptions. No one buying anything out there except the machines. And this just isn't liquid enough for the HFT crowd.
