Play this short, EMR lost focus. Domestic U.S. sales are way down and foriegn markets have zero growth and bad exchange. Overseas plants are failing financially and EMR Execs and BOD think time will resolve the issues. This is not the case as preached for years. Overseas is not where you need plants or assets. Travel to the overseas market when you win a contract, otherwise, the intelligent local U.S. entreprenuers will destroy you and take over your business with domestic plants and pricing advantages. This is being seen by alot of industrial manufacturing companies that HQ has been moved out of the U.S. and plants to Mexico and other countries.
Get out of overseas plants and start making product in the U.S., otherwise, you will continue to be less of a factor everywhere.
Hope you people held over the long weekend, get ready to make lots of money on this short play.
EMR leadership is traking on the wrong path, they have got to get factories back to the U.S. asap, until then, the startups will continue to " hammer away at their prior customer base, not chip but hammer ". Do not look for these startups to sell out to the large cap corporations, that day is gone for sometime to come.
