HEADLINE: Wackenhut Corrections' Australian Subsidiary Renews and Expands Health Care Services Contract for Victoria Public Corrections Enterprise

BODY: Wackenhut Corrections Corporation (NYSE: WHC) today announced its Australian subsidiary, Australasian Correctional Management Pty Limited ("ACM"), has renewed and expanded its health care services contract for The Public Corrections Enterprise, Victoria ("CORE"), to provide comprehensive primary health care services for approximately 2,144 offenders housed in 11 public prisons. Previously the contract provided health care services to nine public facilities. On an annualized basis the contract revenue increased to US $5 million per annum from $1.4 million per annum. Under the contract terms the company will provide the management and professional healthcare staff for onsite offender primary medical, dental and mental health services. All hospitalization costs above a designated cap will be borne by CORE. George C.
