The article, which I have also read, said there
were seven private prisons in Florida. five run by WHC
or CCA, two by another company not named. It said
the savings were in the vicinity of 2%. It DID NOT
specify which companies were saving how much. I, too,
would be interested in knowing. It also said that the
state of Florida is putting new prisons on hold, and is
considering taking over the seven when current contracts end.
