having been employed with the state of NC (i
can't speak for the state of FL), i would like to add
the following thought to the discussion about
if the savings were zero (or even negative a bit),
the move to privatization is still attractive. states
fear being sued - and there are many reasons for
lawsuits - you can image what they are. also, most states
just do not want the headaches associated with running
i thought today's forward leading statements were
very positive, although I had hoped for a larger
number for the quarter. anyway, i'll just hold my 500
shares and wait for the next quarter.
WHC is focusing on mental institutions in England
and elsewhere. Maybe to be a leader in this area? In
the England contract, see last year's news release,
they manage a health theraputic wing or extension
add-on to the prison. Could that be a trend?
...Seems like confusion over WHC numbers is
explainable and selling on WHC overdone. THere is a big
opportunity in the prison market, and to extent WHC can take
advantage of it in a smart manner, they will create real
value for their shareholders. My opinion.
This STOCK, ACCORDING TO MY SOURCE WILL NEVER HIT
THE NUMBERS YOU EXPECT OR THE HIGH NUMBERS INVESTORS
SHOULD EXPECT BASED ON THE GROWTH OF THIS
Buy in the teens, sell in the high twentys and wait
for it to sink again.
H...appenint to this
I`m starting to also wonder if there is
when I bought this stock did
if the company...............
Good news again Company authorizes 500,000 shares
Go ahead and short the stock now.
Company's Earnings growing at 32% based on last quarter
figures, and selling at 25 P/E.
Compared it to the Blue
Chips growing in single digits and with an almost as
high P/E.. When the dust settles, WHC still will be
one of America's fastest growing companies, in one of
the fastest growing service sectors. This represents
a buying opportunity, and time will tell the rest
of the story.
Q: Would you have sold Microsoft
back in October of 1987...?.
Thankyou for the information. But, again, it is a
meaningless sale. If he was selling shares he already had,
that would be one thing, but he obviously exercised an
option, then took the profit on it. Why not?
