      • Hi,Dreiser..Nice to see you here, too! I've learned a lot from your posts in various places. And I appreciate your comments on GEL. I started building up in GEL a year ago after they picked up their IDRs. Like you,I took profits in SXL to do it. What captured my attention was that GEL is kind of like MWE was. A few years ago MWE had pipelines in the Gulf, refinery recycle(Javelina),some G&P in OK etc,the crude pipeline in MI etc. Then came the Confederate General Forrest's,"The Fustest with the Mostest" charge by MWE into the Marcellus. As MWE built up in NGLs I learned from its' investments that NG pipelines weren't as good an area. So I got out of ETP and others and picked up SXL,NGLS,EPD, etc concentrating on NGLs and crude oil gathering and storage. My wife/kids' "Widow and Orphans' Fund" is now well stocked, so I've been working on "new initiatives" the past few years. An unusually good MLP investment score was APL into which I put a few bucks when it seemed to be sliding into bankruptcy. That it was sitting in the Marcellus and was able to sell its' assets there for a ton helped its' turn around. What I like about GEL is that it is really active on a lot of different fronts: crude oil gathering and transportation, the Gulf,tugs/barges,sulfur removal, and now actual ownership of a micro refinery(kind of like a micro brewery IMO!)..So, what will GEL be when it grows up? The GEL mgmt team is IMO "Going for Gold" somewhere like MWE's is doing, and I'm going along bigtime. I have had $bucks on EVEP,too,to see if it monetizes its' Utica holdings. That MWE is going into the Utica should help EVEP,too. I'm kind of keeping an eye on Tesoro Logistics,Magnum Hunter, and a few others to see how things go as well. Geographically,I am also keeping in touch with what is happening in Alaska. There's a lot of NG up there that thanks to Shale gas no longer has the possibility of "Palin's Pipeline" to Chicago. Will a NG export terminal be built in Alaska? Will NGLs be exported to Asia? Who knows? But it really is fun to visualize possibilities. Anyway, nice to be here, and best regards to you!
