GEL's Wyoming Refinery to Supply Diesel to GEL's Trucks,Push Boats?
One thought that I've had is that GEL's 3,000 barrel/day refinery in Wyoming is probably supplying low cost diesel fuel to the GEL tank trucks collecting crude oil in the area. But hey, a) GEL is also building the Proghorn crude oil RR unit train loading facility next to that refinery and b) GEL now has a fleet of RR tankcars. Might GEL load a bunch of those tankcars with its' low cost diesel fuel and get them to other GEL locations for use by GEL trucks and the barge push boats? I am thinking particularly of Natchez and Baton Rouge where RR and barge operations intersect. Kind of like Delta owning a refinery that produces a lot of jet fuel....
also wy.inching closer to ca.
theres a reason kmp cant sign up users for its texas to ca. pipeline.
maybe just maybe little gel flexing its reach to supply ca.
that has been my thoughts for a while.
gel going where the money is in being able to supply those markets.
just my guess. a stretch i realize but who knows
