What makes you think ASCL has $500 million in cash? I think it's closer to $100 million or less. I also think that the company burned $900 million on the stock buy back, executive compensation, and frivolous executive expenditures.

they have not spent all the money yet. they have plenty of cash left to last for at least two more years at the current burn rate. they already set the cc date which is a good sign as well.
your short position will get cremated after the call. go ahead and cover and move on. congrats on making a little money. real tough since the indices are down 30% in three months and softward stocks have fared much worse. read the PR from the company if you want more back up on how much cash they have. they are projecting over $2.60/share in cash at end of year.
10 million per Q, 40 million per year, with 600 million in cash POST December(500 million currently), will last alot longer than two years. This doesn't factor for the right sizing adjustments PG promised to meet whatever market demand exists moving forward. IMO
