All you have in mind is ouzo, opa, opa and wait for the check to arrive from abroad.Stores are most of the time close except the tavernas and ta kafenia. So much waste of time and energy. When you are not bussy distructing public properties, you are laying in the beach holding ta arhidia sas.No wonder Greece is in such a big F@king mess.Guess what? The worst is yet to come. You are going to kill each other soon.

Meanwhile the checks are keep going out every month.

    • Michael Lewis in latest Vanity Fair called Athens "Los Angeles with ruins." Don't overgeneralize, sir. There are plent of Greeks in Greece fed up with Greeks. We Hellenes need to change. All for one and one for all, not just for me.

      Where is the new Pericles?

      • The problem with Greeks is everyone wants to be General and nobody wants to be private. All Chiefs and no braves. Argue argue argue. Plus, most Greeks aren't half as smart as they think they are. Greek schools are among the worst in Europe. But, you know, some of the old spark must still be there. I hope it is anyway. Maybe the current mess will force Greeks to change for the better.
