The the vast majority of Greek population expects the state banktrupcy inevitable. The weekend's To Vima newspaper published a poll that 67.3 percent of the population thinks the state insolvency is no longer possible to avoid. But 70 percent of polled still not want to leave the euro area. Only 20 percent support the reintroduction of the former Greek currency, the drachma.
A representative survey of the absolute majority of respondents, 58.9 percent supported the widespread job cuts in the state sector.
