I have been working at Bridgeline Digital full-time for more than a year
Pros – Great product and great people who want desperately to succeed and help our customers succeed.
Cons – Employees are treated as expendable commodities. If the CEO no longer likes them they are verbally abused until they leave or get fired. In the last two weeks we had three senior people resign. Acting head of marketing (head of of marketing was fired) head of inside sales and VP of Delivery.
The surveillance camera in the kitchen monitoring water usage doesn't help either. It's the craziest place I've ever worked at.
Advice to Senior Management – The Board of directors should speak directly to employees. If they did they would find out that what we need is fresh leadership at the top. We need to replace a culture of fear, intimidation and knee jerk decision making with one of strong positive, clear leadership that encourages and develops employees to their maximum potential.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

It is not a horrible company. From what I hear it is just ran horribly by a bully. "make people uncomfortable and they will perform" is his MO. Unfortunately there is a fine line between uncomfortable and demotivating and he crosses it often.
I think the bod need to make a change at the top. They have a couple of talented people already working for them who could do a better job of running this co. imo, the more I learn about the current "leader" the less I'm impressed.
