Obama bashes corporate jets again in the Debate

What an absolute pleasure it will be when the President of the United States of America stops bashing the 10000 people at Cessna that work hard every day to produce corporate jets that are sold to people, companies and governments all over the world as well as domestic customers. I can't for the life of me understand how ill informed he is on the positive economic impact Cessna has on the American economy. When I was a child I was told that anyone could grow up to be the President of the United States....After listening to our current President tonight, I now believe it. Keep your chin up Cessna.

    • He was talking about corporate excesses, not bad-mouthing corporate jets. If anything, he elevated the prestige associated with owning corporate jets by saying that "if they can afford corporate jets, they can........".

Other than his chuckles and grins, Obama was more believable. Afterall, one can never believe someone who says one thing behind closed doors and another in public. Obama is on the right path by cutting medicare cost, needless defense spending, keeping insurance companies and HMOs honest, covering people with pre-conditions, investing in alternative energy. We need to get rid of dirty coal and oil dependence to ensure future generations can breathe clean air. Every newer technology needs some seed R&D money. We did that for aerospace for years and that made us leaders in aerospace technology. Doing so for alternative energy will make us energy-independent forever. We also need to invest in high speed rail. The world is advancing and we are too happy with the status-quo, letting the big money lobby dictate what they want rather than what makes sense for the country and future generations. When corporations pay more in lobbying and superpac money and less in taxes, you know we are headed in wrong direction.

      Sentiment: Buy
