    Buy HAIN! Going to $150/sh!

Anyone bearish trying to compare this to a mature WF is nuts. HAIN disturbution is rapidly increasing as they're entering all the new orgo stores = tons of room to grow attractively. Just doubled down

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • I hope you're correct, when? HAIN is great and I sold some puts on it.

    • And the fraud that is organic/non-GMO rolls on...PT Barnum's got nothing on good ol' Irwin. Let it push to $100'ish then short to your hearts delight. HAIN will plummet just like its bogus brethren CMG and WFM.

      Sentiment: Sell

      • kmsmith, have you initiated your short?

      • I personally do not believe the surge in demand for natural/organic foods has been based on "fraud".
Perhaps you think the public will discover said "fraud" and stop buying nat/organic foods? I do not.
To each his/her own. Again, the NUMBERS speak louder than anyone's words. The sector has had fantastic growth and HAIN has been one of the beneficiaries. WFM & CMG are totally different companies and they do not warrant a direct comparison. IMO, HAIN is fairly well priced; yes, if its growth slows, there may need to be an adjustment, but today's report doesn't not signal HAIN is out of growth options.
As noted in an earlier post, IF HAIN's shares appreciate, I most likely will sell a few shares.
Good luck with your short term trades.

    • Just finished listening to the 1:15 hour conf call. All sounds good to me, a HAIN long for over ten years.
Perhaps HAIN was a tad weak yesterday due to WFM, and if so, that is a silly reason. One of the analysts actually asked about WFM's slowing growth vis a vis HAIN. What I have always liked about HAIN, and this is how Irwin responded, is that the SECTOR is growing and HAIN products are being sold in a lot of the new outlets. Of course, WFM is still growing, just a bit more slowly. I imagine their are varying margins a different outlets, but as long as the sector is growing, HAIN should continue to grow. HAIN has also been very successful with its acquisitions, although it is nice to see some periodic divestitures.

$150/share? See what happens. If HAIN does hit that price, I imagine I will sell some shares well before it hits that mark--HAIN is my largest individual equity holding--I did sell a few shares early Sept 2012.
