FPP warrants had their highest volume day for an entire year...perhaps ever...on Thursday. They also went up 18% and up over 40% for the past week.
The last time I owned a small float company that was being bought out, the stock price rose precipitously for 2 weeks before the news was publicly announced.
FPP's trigger went off on Tuesday. Everything seemed to change. That's when the stock was trading higher in premarket, something that almost never happens. We may have another full week of heavy volume and big price increases before the public finds out why.
I'm pretty confident this is a buyout/merger based on the unusual activity with the warrants. If that's not the case, then either earnings or Ranger well #2 is blowout spectacular to drive this kind of action since it's being done by a few "in the know" people and not the public.
I seriously hope management doesn't give the company away for anything below $8.
