Rev beat guidance by a big margin -

In last CC, "Net revenues for Q4 2012 are expected to be in the range of 19.3 million and 20.9 million."

The company reported Q4 rev of $23.2mln. That's way ahead of the top line guidance. Nice to see a beat and growth ahead of the guidance.

The company's market share in China has been steady at 59%, which is impressive. And they finally saw sequential growth. It looks like they low-balled the guidance, interestingly.

    • The company has no Street coverage, and no est to beat. But this is the only penny stock from China that paid very nice dividends over the last three years. So, in that regard, it's the few companies with credible financials - cash rich.

The other Chinese stock I'm long is HKTV, also cash rich and huge dividend paying company.

Those are rare find, and the fund managers are starting to get into the stocks.

STV should be a $4 soon.

      • Dividend history, from the annual report:

        - December 2008, US$1.00 per ordinary share of the company. This dividend in the amount fully paid by the end of February 2009.
        - November 2010, US$2.00 per ordinary share to be paid in two installments of US$1.00 each. The dividend was fully paid on May 31, 2011.
        - May 2011, US$0.56 per ordinary share. The dividend was fully paid by April 13, 2012.
        - Nov 2012, US$1.00 per share, paid
        - Feb 2013 US$1.30 per share, paid.

I caught the last two payouts, as I bought the stock in Aug 2012. Didn't get to right it down from 2008. But I'm riding it up since Aug 2012.

The reason they have been able to generate so much cash was in the business model - they work with the major TV networks. Those major TV networks in China are cash rich. It's a rather reliable business that the Wall Street neglect for years. Hey, they thought it's just another Chinese company. Well, it is NOT just any other. This one is special.

      • Let those idiots short the stock. I've been watching the got burned so hard over the past months.

Did you see those morons shorting HKTV all the way up too? Oh, what a joy and what a sight of losers/idiots!
