This board is infected with shorts. Hopefully, the sale of e-Speed for the princely sum of $1.234 billion (including "earn-outs") will compel the shorts to race for the exits to cover their foolish short bets, which should serve to fumigate the board of vermin, at least for a while. It's now obvious to all that the lies the shorts have been spreading about BGC Partners and its CEO, Howard Lutnick, are exactly that--lies. I hope all the dolts who want to sell their BGCP stock do so today, and thereafter cease to pollute this board with their inane, mindless chatter. Today Lutnick proved how stupid the shorts are, so they should simply surrender in full defeat, take their disastrous losses, and go somewhere else.
Congratulations to all longs! You have been vindicated after years spent in the wilderness!
The main improvement of Yahoo was to make it extremely easy to ignore vermin posters. Put your tracer on the name of the poster and a blue shield with a white cross appears with an arrow to the right with options including "ignore". I love using it to slay the dolts and philistines. Ed
