I sold my 40,000 + shares @ 6.05 ave. as I didn't think waiting for the 12 cent ex-div was worth the risk. I didn't like the insider buy back at 6.24, especially the debt forgiveness and income tax payment for inside holders. Next coming is the $180 million debt repayment to Cantor, another inside deal . Bottom line is Howard made the NAZ deal because he had no other choice to stay in business. Look for a support level around 5.40 due to the dividend. Not much growth potential using what's left of the NAZ proceeds after taxes.
Best bet is a turnaround in the existing businesses. Commercial R.E., including property management, and trading activity in Treasuries. A hold at best for now. A buy around 5.40 IMO.
'ld Doowop, you sly guy. I also sold 70%. Kept it in two accounts along with my HUN position. Howard's antics did not make me too happy. Divvies are good but I can only use so many. Sitting on 100K cash is nice going into the summer doldrums. 5.40 sounds good to me. Ed
