First you glue to your skin something like European type electric outlet with hole in the middle, you put shaving/drilling tool in to grind off the top 0.1 mm of skin (dead cell, or so they say) , then you put sensor into the plug. Next day you do it again but on a different spot of your body - it lasts only 24 hours.
It's painless. And it's non-intrusive . Everybody likes it.
The sensor doesn't glue on. It uses the same medical tape that Dexcom and Medtronic sensors use. Then the Prelude uses abrasion to painlessly remove the outer layer of dead skin. Then you pop in the sensor. You have to move the sensor every two or three days and you can put it anywhere on your body. All of the dexcom and Medtronic sensors have to puncture your belly fat.
