As ACRX is boring now. I wanted to bring this NDA filing back up. As they somewhat put a self imposed "deadline" on the filing, the closer it gets the more fear/worry we get. Why not today?? what is going on? is there a delay? Why? This is why it will pop when the steam is released. If it is released? A lot of investing is trusting to invest in the management.
I'm staying Long and Strong, Rumors emerging of a Buyout and NDA delay due to negotiations, I almost hope this is not true.... Was looking to sell 3 years from now at $100.00 a share. But I Have been loading up including yesterday, this lull in the price action has been good.
I would like everyones advice on what to do with my 500 shares of acrx. I bought in late with this stock, so far im down $1200. Should I still hang on to it or dump it. So far this stock is the only biotech that has made me loose money. my fault tho for knowing about this stock late. CLDX and PBYI are my only money makers at the moment. thanks in advance
Kitty - I did the same. Waited two months with ATOS. Same pattern... periodic increases eroded by day to day selling. The wait paid off. Today I sold my ATOS for a one-day gain of 47%. Patchen's right, it's boring right now, but I believe ACRX is one of those companies whose tedious share price will be punctuated by periods of spectacular appreciation. I want to be there when it happens.
Patch - I have no problem with the delay because their management has proven to be VERY trustworthy to date. If you recall in Feb, they announced a small delay in reporting the 2 of the Ph3 data. I believe they would have announced a delay by now. That being said, I don't care if they delay as long as they get the submission right the first time. FDA is picky on all of the formatting. See what happened to CHTP when they filed it incorrectly. Stock fell and they had to re-file and start the clock all over again. With Adams at the head of the board, I feel fin. The stock movement of late has just been the traders on very very low volume.
Yes if you have a long term view it doesn't matter. Definitely want it right the first time. I obviously am getting a little jittery here. I lost a little confidence after the surprise secondary, other investors probably did as well as they said over and over they were well financed. The product is worth a lot of money.
