    • You are full of shit. I was at the trial all day, and was in the halls during the trial. Teh Rambus supporters, Infringeon in particular, but also mark, TDox and I were carefult not to discuss the trial, and if anyone did, they were told to keep quiet.

In addition, I can assert with confidence, that no juror was in line front of the Court during the wait, or in the Halls during break, or in the bathrooms, unless it was the womens bathroom. I believe they have their own.

Neither did thy show up at the local downtown restaurants where some went after Court. We were all looking for them to make sure.

I can also assert that there are many non-Rambus stockholders at the trial, including lawyers for the other DRAMurai, and some unidentified observers, one of whom might be nicdegreek (or not).

Furness mention two issues: people talking about the trial in front of the Jurors,( which I do not believed was happening, at least not by Rambuoids, who mostly hung together), and the Rambus Boards, where every detail of the trial was being prosted, very accurately, and all the FUD and BS from nic and other "antiRambus "experts" was being soundly defeated, aprticularly the bs about damages of $70 million when they are likely to be closer to $1 billion.

It seemed to me that he would have the Rambus listeners thrown out of court, so the facts can't get out, both because he may fear the Jurors will go on the threads over the weekend, and because they fear the reactions from their stockholders as this case unfolds. If they an get the Rambus stockholders thrown out, or get the case thrown out because the "jury has been tainted by Rambus stockholders" or get sanctions on Rambus because its stockholders are out of control, they win, at lest something: a new trial, delay, more obsuscation as to what is really going on.

I truly understand Stewart Steele's concern. We all share it aand have discussed it and have been actively monitoring it through out the pre-tria and trial.

But I just don't see it happening. This is a maneuver by Hynix for advantage. We will ahve to tone it down on the boards. Stop the gloating, the constant cursing, the suggestions that Stone was setting up Hynix, and anything else that would reflect badly on Rambus or its stockholders.

We are close guys. Let's not screw this up!!!

      • Judge Whyte has not as yet placed a gag order on the people attending the trial nor has he cleared the court. Consider the source of the complaint Furniss! Indeed SS has made a big investment but proportionate to his worth it is probably no more important then say what Mark has at stake. Let us not get confused here. This is the USA and free speech has not been abrogated. If people who don't know shit can publish pure unadulterated crap in the news media there is no reason the truth cannot be posted in this forum. Even the dumbest board member here is not going to try and pollute the jury when everyone here knows that this case has all the facts lined up on the side of RMBS. SS is naive if he thinks the source of this problem is from the RMBS side. There is only one drowning person who would like to see himself saved by the life buoy of a mistrial and that is Furniss who has truly according to reports that I believe are true published on this board is a real sleeze bag. But should that surprise us? Look who he represents. And SS if you want to throw your weight around get on the BOD and reign in the option lotto game at least and until we have a few legal victories.

      • Your points are well taken, but I have to take great exception to your point about toning it down on this thread.

This thread has never been anything but good old American apple pie...we let the sun shine in on every word, better or worse. It is an honest exchange, it is the essence of democracy. If the Hynix defense team, jurors or anyone else want to peek in, they are all welcome, and can even join in the discussion, without revealing their true identity. This board is as free as it gets in a free society. Let the sun keep shining in.

Now just how realistic is that? In the era of the free internet, you just can't have that kind of control, even if imposed as self-control...ain't gonna happen...even if I want it to...freedom of expression and all that stuff ring a bell?...;)

Break given. But if that were truly the case, could he not just quietly approach him and speak his mind? Why come onto such a public forum and give the enemy ideas?
