How fast did Hager report the Judge Jordan's ruling to his customers and how was it reported (e-Mail and/or cell)? I'm trying to determine how to get the result as soon as possible.
Just look on this board for the number of "longs" that are bitching nonstop about how the jury screwed them.
Ramboids have been whining for 6 years and it will only get worse come a week from Friday!!!!!!!
>Just look on this board for the number >of "longs" that are bitching nonstop about >how the jury screwed them.
Long's won't be bitching about anything. They will be thw winners. Sorry
IMO, speedy (near instantaneous) reports of breaking court RESULTS is not what Hager's team does. I am sure they will send an email alert when the results are known, but other forums will have the info first, IMO. Including the YMB.
What they do is figure out what the result is going to be before it occurs, and then explain why its going to occur in simple, easy to understand language, so that you can postition yourself accordingly in alignment with your goals and risk criteria. They are EXTREMELY TALENTED at what they do.
There is no way we will get an email alert to our entire list of customers before major wire news (like the trial result) gets it out. We were at the supreme court (about third in line) for cert day and the wires beat us by 5 or more minutes. We were at JJ court and this board beat us.
Of course we did a pretty good job of predicting those positive events. Even the bad decision in Europe was predicted. The good result of the FTC, the bad result from payne and the excellent result of Whyte on spoliation were predicted too.
If an instant market alert on news as big as this will be is the reason you want to subscribe to the Hager letter don't do it. There are other vehicles for that.
I'll let others give you reasons why you would want to subscribe.
The work you guys have been doing, especially today's analysis of the significance of Stone's cross of Taylor is really good. Major kudos to you and the Hager crew! Also, I'll never forget your steadfast positive expectations of the CAFC appeal. Those of us that were beaten down to within an inch of our financial lives from Payne & VA1 had a chance for a comeback from your (free at the time) analysis despite the negative rantings of Croaker, fraudbus et al. And even though one more Prost on that panel would have buried Rambus and many of us with it, we got our break.
Folks should also know you and the Hager team have been pretty right on with your other stocks like Ebay, Sandisk and Genentech, to name a few. I'm tickled pink with my Hager subscription even without the Rambus part!
mayo_clare (nice name). Forget about getting the info first. There are professionals doing that already. You will not beat them unless you have someone in court you trust completely and he/she has some amazing tech. There already are people like that.
Besides, I think we get alot of the price action BEFORE the verdict as the verdict is becoming more and more obviously stacked for RAMBUS.
Thursday? Hager had you re-read a report from 22 months ago that pre-covered what happened in court.
The only mistake Rick made was making that information available to the opposition prior to Taylor submitting his expert report. Good thing Taylor did not do that or Stone would not have been able to do what he did. That is what is so amazing about it to me.
The disussion of who is faster is like comparing apple preserves to a just picked orange.
One is foresight to what questions and answers will be on an exam. The answers include why you bought Rambus a long time ago and have confidence of the trial. The other is a recap of what the exam answers were after is has already been passed or failed on finals day.
At lest that's the way I see the difference. It not hours its months. It's also the reason Hager is lapping the field with his performance.
I just hope his conclusion of the result is as accurate as his prediction of its path to completion.
A Hager fan
