The issue of patent rights was thrown out due to spoilation. This case is not about patents. The answer however is no. Looks to me that the jury is viewing the case in favor of MU/Hynix because without patent infringement RMBS has no real claim and just lost out in the marketplace because it had less favorable technology.
Why is it that absolutely every single thing the jury says must be good news for RMBS? Incredible. This could also mean that the jurors are trying to decide if RMBS even had rights to it's IP at all.
There are 2 sides to every story, and the JEDEC story is that Rambutt attended their standards setting meetings and then re-filed patents in order to ensure that they were infringed by JEDEC open standards.
