Basically all stocks will be cut in half from their current positions. Forget gold, silver, and all the rest of those precious metals. This is going to get very ugly. You can thank: Greenspan, Paulson, Bernanke, Cox, Bush, Clinton, Frank, Mozilo, Dodd, Regulators, Credit Cards, Lenders, appraisers, bailouts, blacks, whites, hispanics, naked short sellers, etc.
Here is another
"Well illegal Mexicans have no trouble finding a job so quit the poverty BS cause its getting very old. Fifteen Million are here and most are working not laying around watching Oprah and getting a fricking handout. You damn Liberals are all the same!"
Here is one of his rants from a few days ago
"Now if you look at blacks on welfare as a percentage of overall blacks, you'll find that close to 50% of all blacks collect welfare at some point in their lives.
You won't find anywhere near that number of white people who collect welfare.
The same thing goes for crime. Blacks, who are only 13% of the population, commit over 70% of all violent crime and 44% of the prison population is black.
Don't you find those number just the least bit revealing?
Why is it that Asian's, Mexican's, etc can all find work but some blacks stay on welfare forever? The Government should just end this system because face it...they'll never have any pride being on this system."
Cool off guys. It's Friday. Go to you children's sport's events tonight and sing the Star Spangled Banner. Turn off the financial news and tell your spouse you love them.
200 plus years and counting. The country will survive, you will survive and the sun will come up tommorow.
Maybe a good shakeout is what the system needs. It looks like we'll have a new set of scoungrels in DC soon. Hope they're up to the job. Oh, by the by, we can all help too. Pay off as much debt as fast as you can. Save as much money as you can. Invest it, don't speculate. Try to treat your fellow man like he's your fellow man. Good luck to all!
On A roof in Wall Street, the banking area of New York, a maintenance worker was going about his business on the afternoon of October 24, 1929.
Then he looked down and saw a big crowd in the street below watching him. They thought he was about to jump.
Shares on the New York Stock Exchange had been plummeting all day. There were rumours of suicides. The maintenance man seemed to fit the bill.
Never thought I'd see the day happen so quickly. We rolled our eyes at our grandmothers that reused every paper towel, saved every penny, and couldn't understand why they seemed so "cheap."
Our grandmothers understood the meaning of saving, hard work, and being frugal. They would always be shopping at the sales rack and overlook the nicer stuff - all this in prosperous times.
They'd always bring up the Great Depression when asked. I couldn't understand it so much when I was younger. Now, I do.
Let's pray for one another. God, please help us in times of great duress. Please see us through knowing that this may feel like the end, but isn't. Help us to put our hope and trust in you and your Son, Jesus.
If I have offended some here, I cannot apologize for that. Our lives are literally hanging in the balance and there is only One Way.
