    International Sales

How about calling the cfo of STE and posing the same question to our employee [STE is our company, remember]? And please post what their answer is. I think you've got a worthy question there.

    Regards, Roger

    • Roger-

Thinking that the CFO or any other employee of a publicly held employee works for the average public stockholder is silly and not reflective of reality.

Let's due a little DD ourselves and let the CFO focus on running the business. The 2001 Annual Report indicates that international revenue has been relatively flat for the last three years at $125M.

You're right... It would be silly to think that the CFO works for me or any other shareholder. If you don't think much of your own opinion then why should they? But I tend to think differently. I believe that it is my, as well as roger29palms's, God given right to hold concern to what happens to our investment funds. As "silly" as it may seem, I believe my opinion counts. No I don't have a PhD. No I don't have over $1.5 billion to direct. But I do have a father who works for Steris and worked with Amsco for many years prior to that. He plans on retiring from Steris. The comfort of his post-retirement depends on the success of Steris. So tell me roic... for a man that has dedicated most of his life to Steris Corp. and the descendants of its existence... would you be the one to say "your voice does not matter"?

      • Whatever would lead you to say that it is silly of me to think that Steris' cfo doesn't work for me? Who is he working for? Am I mistaken in thinking that as a shareholder I am a co-owner of Steris? And as an employee of my firm is he/she not working for? If this is not the case please enlighten me. Please don't begin your reply with "everyone knows..."
What reality were you referring to in your statement?
