Am a newbie on this board. I agree advdx is a trading fund. Just expanded my position at the 4 buck level.
Actually don't give a poop about the nwps..if they lower the div thats ok too as my fixed income portfolio exclusive of advdx produces 12%.
Welcome Mr MAX. nice to have a fellow old fart on board (i'm 76), and how nice that you know what you want and how to get it.
Please share some more of your individualistic ideas...GLTY MR MAX
Question, what are "the nwps" ?
Here's what the Motley Fool (Tom Gardner) recommends. I'm sure that the ADVDX managers haven't lost sight of these 5 stocks in their dividend capture method.
Stock Current Yield
AT&T (NYSE: T) 7%
Verizon (NYSE: VZ) 7%
Altria (NYSE: MO) 7%
Southern Company (NYSE: SO) 5.7%
Eli Lilly (NYSE: LLY) 6.1%
GOOD POST, and good info
My major holding is at&t, because i think it has a great future and a possible double in two years. The otherS you mention i have personally traded for the divs in the up markets, but now prefer to let the experts handle..GLTY
Now Bull, don't make foolish statements, just practice counting for a while. Post again when you get to the "teens" and I will help. Good luck amigo. You bring a smile to my face with almost every post.
Bull, doing two things at one time. That's very impressive. Don't fall off.
And while your in that sitting position you have enough protrusions(including your fingers) to count high enough to calculate the advd-REX YTD negative total return.
This will make the math easier.
Good luck amigo. I can taste the beer you are going to have to buy me in January.
Thanks Bull. That was a succint yet thoughtful and exhaustive analysis of advd-REX. I appreciate all the research, calculations and comparative analysis it required. You are an asset to the board.
