    the info for ND is available every day at/

    the date of this info is dec 20-07 . if you check daliy you need to adjust date..last 6 numbers is the date of info entered from state, of ND..
    This includes well permited, or all other information given out for alll oil wells in ND .
    then if you go to
    and click on conver twsp/range to lat. /longitude , then select state+ meridan. for ND you choose ND. 5th principal
    meridian and enter the section number ( from 1-36 ) township Number, ( sw ND twsp number are 128n 129n,130,131n) and increase in number as you go north.
    the range number is expressed as 90w to 106w. with the number getting larger as you go west. sw nd where it contacts montana is usually 106,

    this will give you a longitude and latitude number, express as degrees,minutes and seconds..
    plug this into Google earth or use google earth with a map overlay and you can get a top view of the area.
    i know this sound complicated, but it is simple if your are used to using Quadrangle topographical maps.
