    fed debt

Must be the Rocky Mountain high, but woke up this a m, thinking that maybe we should hope the DC idiots go to default on the debt. Probably would be uncomfortable for a time, but we might at least get some real change. Another patch that pushes the market up temporarily is not a permanent solution. The longer we wait, the harder it will be.

    • Conventional wisdom, we won't default on the debt.

Conventional wisdom, the market is in a bubble, can only make money in specific stocks.

      Conventional wisdom is usually wrong.

Conclusion, wait for lower values and buy long term. Not very sophisticated.

      • I firmly believe those in the confines of DC , do not know if they are Afoot or Horse Back.. I sold a couple more things today 1 for a tiny loss and the other for a small gain.. I am told by many friends that they are hoarding Cash and not buying anything, unless they need it.. I realize this is unscientific, but if every working women in USA rat holes a $ 100 bill for just in case they have taken a huge amount of buying power out of the game.
I look for the 4th qtr earnings to be muted.. if people go into the Holiday season like they did in 2008 in a ugly .funky mood it will be a quiet Christmas season..
The Weekend Blizzard in The Hills of SD and Wyo prairie are going to hurt the Ranching communities as they are finding cows and Fall calves smothered/froze now that the snow is melting..
