    Backlog of orders at company.

I have 3 orders in for grading of baseball cards. Have not received them, so sent company an e-mail. They apologized for the delay, but due to orders, they are behind in processing.

As an investor, I am pleased they are doing so much business, with not debt.
However, as a collector, I am not happy my orders are not being filled quickly.
    Maybe hire more people?

    • define quickly? 10 days? 30 days? 60 days?

The card company seems to be running at record levels. Coins are in their slow season. Hiring graders takes years of training. You really can't get people off the street.

They do have different levels of service. Did you pay up and order Express service? If not and it's Economy, then you just have to wait. sometimes they play games with the different service levels to entice people to pay for faster service. I think they are just swamped with cards and have been for a while.

      • Well, I'd like to get them within 30 days so I can sell them on eBay, but it seems to be taking around 45 days for an order to be filled. They had a promotion for members this month, $6.00 a card under $100.00, minimum of 25 cards. I am sure they had a lot of takers on that promotion, so the wait continues.

A company with little/no debt, and making money, is going to keep on paying a dividend. When every they get behind in revenue, they will have another members promotion, so I am not worried about this company at all, and will continue to give them business. They are the most legitimate grading company out there.

        Sentiment: Buy
