    HRB 2010 FEES

I'm a small Mom & Pop shop and i sometimes find myself charging less than HRB.
I would like a link to a price sheet for 2011 if out yet.
I am not taking away anything from HRB in terms of clients, it's

    Thank You

    • Please send me your social security number, date of birth and a copy of your drivers license and your main checking account number and I will see what I can do. Oh also mother's maiden name.
      Thanks
      David

    • Doubt you are going to get one. Not unless someone just wants to give up their job.

Per the annual report, the average fee last year was close to $200. Jackson Hewitt was higher. The average fee includes a state return, if applicable. It does not include fees for bank products.

Nationwide, the fee was about the same, per some cost surveys done the previous year.

If you want to increase volume first, you probably want to be lower than average.

    • I'll get right on that price sheet for ya! Can't think of a faster way to get fired or sued than to post a link to a company's proprietary data on a public message board. Why don't you post yours?

      • It's funny how people think prices are proprietary data. Every customer who is give a quote is given pricing information. My mystery shoppers get specific price quotes for me every year for simple, standard early season, and complex returns. It's not hard to find out, but no, you probably shouldn't post HRB's price information on a public site if they don't authorize it. But don't think that they keep this information from their competitors. I would never fool myself into thinking my local Block offices don't know what I charge.
