All you idiots that supported this hedge fund low life and his proxy fight are now reaping what you sewed. Is it possible for this company to be run any more into the ground?
Yes, everyone: Take financial advice from a poster who doesn't know the difference between "sow" and "sew".
"I made lots of it on HRB while Ernst was at the wheel." (fortunat_500)

With respect, I suspect that you made your money in spite of Ernst being at the wheel -- not because of it.
For example, how much of your profit was made because Block happened to be in the mortgage business at the time. (And how much more could you have made if Ernst had gotten the company out of the mortgage business in a more timely fashion.
A final point on the subject: if Ernst had actually been doing his job, then Breeden would never have attained a place of power in the company.
I don't know about you, but I like making money. I made lots of it on HRB while Ernst was at the wheel....much more than you can say about Breeden and his cronies...nose dive.
When Earnst was at Block he hired his buddy from American Express to work under him. Yabuki eventually left to become CEO of Fiserv. Now Yabuki is returning the favor by giving Earnst a job. What goes around comes around!
"He was at the IRS only long enough to stick it to HRB and Breeden, over a product he never liked.... I think he got the last laugh."

After around 8 years of total incompetence as Block's ceo, cob, etc., yeah, I have to agree -- Ernst definitely got the last laugh.
< Is it possible for this company to be run any more into the ground? >
You do realize what happens when you make a statement like that.
Time for me to start investing in Fiserv, now that both Yabucki and Ernst are there. I got great returns when Ernst was at HRB. HRB stock has been in a downward spiral since Ernst and his C-Suite leaders left.
