2.415 trillion paycheck to US treasury

On IRS website, I found it interesting that with only 300 million population, and half that don't pay any taxes, that IRS can haul in that much cash.
There were 144.7 million individual tax returns, but no mention of how many corp. returns.

IRS will increase it's 2013 budget to 12.8 Billion dollars

I would love to find the ratio of how much is collected from individuals verse corps., to see if tax collection on the individuals are a loser, as there is no way 144.7 million tax payers could come even close to paying as much as a trillion on their own, since there could be up to XX% of these "taxpayers" only filing for refundable credits.

Since corp., really don't pay, as the tax is just another overhead cost that is passed to the consumer, would it mean all 2.415 trillion came from individuals in one form or other? Kind of a freaky # for such a low population, huh?

12.8 Billion budget JUST for IRS, doesn't take into consideration budgets of other agencies that collect & distribute taxes. Wouldn't you love to know how much these budgets could be cut if only Corps paid tax, and they didn't have to deal with 144.7 tax returns from individuals?
