    SPIRITLESS: Nickled and Dimed

    I do know that it's extremely challenging to run an airline. And I know it's a business, and businesses must profit to stay in business and excel.

    But Spirit has truly taken things to a shockingly bad extreme. Now, they won't even given their passengers a cup of water without charging them. I'm not even sure that FAA regulations allow them to charge passengers for water.

    I just flew this airline, and I knew there were no real amenities. But no water? Really? Is that any way to run a business?

    The seats also don't recline at all, and they're all jammed together so you feel like a sardine.

    I'm wondering if they'll start charging for the underseat cushion that's used as a flotation device.
