So where's the big selloff? Holding in the $51's.

The market doesn't seem to care about missed earnings and high valuation. Exact opposite of Macy's.

The market seems to care only about sales, and that the miss was because of spending on growth. The market seems to believe that they'll cut back on spending and earnings will explode.

Yet, for the past year, JWN has grown earnings only about 10%, and is guiding up to 10% earnings growth this year.

Although JWN trades for 1x sales and has a 2% dividend yield, I think it's nuts that it trades above a market multiple on trailing and forward earnings, given their anemic earnings growth rate.
