Didn't write this came from someone else but makes since..
Been gone on business a couple of days so I'm catching up on posts but found the below message on another board interesting given the recent conversations I'm reading here.
If Glad is in the market to buy compostable bags and there are a few companies(BASF,Dupont, CERP..) which meets the specs it would be a logical reasoning perhaps that Glad MAY want to choose CERP given the fact that CERP is under presure to get deals and thus will be more aggresive in thier pricing/biding than the others. The question is can CERP meet the demands for this potental deal & will Glad be willing to help CERP in sort of finance this deal becuase they/Glad amy be getting such a sweet price?!!
People will never pay any attention to your posts until you learn to spell. It's a sign of ignorance. Since? How about Sense. And you have none. Cereplast is splitting. And they have every intention of getting it approved since they have handed much of the company to Magna. They have a very large vote. Consider the deal done.
First you are assuming English is my primary language which it is not, I think I do a pretty good job for a secondary language. Misterblows is it yes that sounds much better. Cereplast has a pre proxy to vote on the R/S so your post and I quote "Cereplast is splitting" is incorrect and just an attempt at flaming the same BS as other shorts on this board. Nothing is even close to a "done deal" until at the very least April 5th, and that will just give them the right to do the R/S and dose not guarantee it will even happen and that's if it even gets voted in. Convincing people that this is a done deal and that they should sell is just ridiculous.
knowledgeable plastics personnel are a dime a dozen, the plastics industry is in the crapper in the US right now...many are laid off. If a deal is in the works, some advance financing may also be there, with which to hire new employees to ramp up production. If not, CERP will just lay out some unissued stock to get $$ to bring more bodies on board.
