Southern Copper (SCCO): BB&T Capital cuts the commodity company to Underweight from Hold.
I guess this is the reason for the -3.50% drop so far this AM.
We deserve better as the price of cooper rose today.

Sentiment: Buy
Copper is not going out of style and neither is SCCO.
Sentiment: Buy
even through all the recent economic turbulence copper is still at 3.60 a pound, which is well above it's historical average price, and not too far from the record. So what happens if the world actually turns around, and gets stronger as a lot of the economic reports coming out of the U.S. and China are pointing too...
Well, BB&T ain't exactly a household word among analysts. I'm sure the 24 cent divident didn't help as divididiots were expecting another 2.75.
"DIVIDENT CUT BY OVER 92%" !!!!!!!! THEY MUST BE GOING BROKE !!!! BK SOON!!! I'LL BUY AT UNDER 1.00 SOON!!!!
Divididiots and lemmings don't understand (or try to) why cash flow is being retained. DUH!! It might be to increase production, ya think??
Those looking for an entry point or to build for a long term hold should take advantage. SCCO's average annual return on average assets is more than 25%. That's after tax!! The money that is not being paid out today will provide much greater payouts less than 5 years from now when production is nearly double last year's. I can wait.
so are the 'tutes' buying or selling right now? What say you?
“The money that is not being paid out today will provide much greater payouts less than 5 years from now” …..
Yeah sure ….. but what's about ME!
I WANT big divident payouts and new 52 week highs every week! I just can't understand why SCCO/GRUPO is more concerned about the future of THEIR business than they are about MY needs!
It just isn't FAIR!
I think it's a Grupo conspiracy to shake-out private investors so they can scoop-up our stock at bargain prices. It's just another example of big business screwing the “little guys”!
What say we find a shyster lawyer and start a class action suit. I'm pretty sure John Edwards would take the case ….. and you'll have to admit he is “pretty”.
