    http://www.reuters.com/article/marketsNews/idAFN2536198120090325?rpc=44

Maybe someone else posted this message but I just saw it this evening. They did say CHK was a good candidate for merger.

    • Thanks Rusty...Good article. You know when I hear these executives and analysts comment on things I think it pays more to watch what they do as opposed to what they say. No CEO is going to telegragh a deal with his own company; especialy one underweight his own shares. This deal with SUNCOR and P-CAN is REAL not just talk. Are we to believe credit markets are frozen everywhere EXCEPT Canada? AT&T running service vehicles on NG is REAL. I suspect other large fleet operators are examining the merits of NG as well. Millions of people in Asian nations climbing the economic ladder will want to park their bicycles and get cars. Where will that energy come from? What about geopolatics around the world that can disrupt the supply of energy? What about industrial demand when the economy recovers? These executives can answer these and other questions better than any of us on this board. I am not saying that any of the above factors I mentioned is any kind of near term catalyst to drive up the price of NG or CHK stock, but NG seems to me like the only practical energy alternative in at least the intermediate term. These executives know this and most of us on this board do too. Good luck.
