AIG book Value is @ over $400.00 per share, how do they figure this out? Can some one shine the light how they came to this value..or is it all BS?
it is based on the last audited statement in 2008....which is very different from the conditions now...i can tell you not familar with finance....my advice: do your research, be rational...
Their book value is negative 1000$. Don't buy this BS.
You stupid. That was the value long time ago. No one updates that. Ha ha ha
Before calling people stupid...you should take a good look at yourself.
$51 billion equity divide 134 million outstanding share
400 = only 20 pre-split. a forward split later on would correct the way that appears.
Its true. the number of shares by the estimated future profits. But NO ONE wants to admit this...
Book value is not calculated on future profit.Enterprise value to the book divided by the number of actual shares...=bOOK VALUE
