Who said no pipeline? Does anyone understand the value of La Jolla's discoveries and intellectual property? Treatment for autoimmune diseases is a billion dollar industry. I predict partnerships in the near future for their Toleragen Technology. Also, we should be hearing more about their small molecule inhibitors later this month.

To date, the Company has developed Toleragens with epitopes made from oligonucleotides (DNA), peptides, and carbohydrates. LJP has shown in animal models of lupus, antibody-mediated thrombosis and xenotransplantation that each kind of Toleragen is able to reduce production of the targeted antibodies and the B cells producing them. Based on these studies, LJP believes it can create Toleragens for a number of diseases.

Currently, we own 98 issued patents and have 92 pending patent applications covering our various technologies and drug candidates, including our Tolerance Technology, our lupus and antibody-mediated thrombosis drug candidates, and our platform and linkage technologies for our Toleragens.
