It could be, but more important as a catalyst will be if the DOD agrees to foot the bill for developing Lpathomab. I'm betting they have already seen the presentation, Dr Sabbadini has already talked to them from what I'm told. I think they will be involved, regardless of sequester, it's just a matter of how involved.
After hearing about how terrible this sequester will be, I heard some real numbers the other day, basically some federal employees will have to take 2 or 3 days off a month without pay. Sounds like a good thing to me, since these excrement heads in charge can't cut a thing without a "blue ribbon panel of experts" to blame it on.
As the TBI conference website says "The time has come for TBI research", I think they just have to decide if they are going to take a couple days off a month or blow up 6 sheep instead of 8 to save money. As others have said here, helping prevent brain damage in the troops is not a money costing thing it's a money saving thing.
