Actually if I am correct, they are the ones running it up. By churning (buying and selling) the stock, with such a low float they can run it up fairly cheaply without actually building a position. So they pump the stock while running the price up buying and selling to make it look like something is here but ultimately they are holding a net short position. They then deflate the stock at some point and cover the short over time. Pause and repeat. I am definitely not saying I know this for a fact but it sure looks that way to me from what I have seen with other stocks in the past.

Even if there is a real buyer right now, these guys just manufacture shares and short until the buying stops. They then push the price back down and cover in the pause again. They also don't care about the ultimate prospects of the company. This is all about short-term manipulation and they hope that if they can do it to enough stocks over a long enough period they can absorb occasionally getting caught with their pants down on a short squeeze.

In reality if you are long term, this is all meaningless. Annoying yes but meaningless.

    Sentiment: Hold
