    This is different

This time, it appears to be real. News is leaking on AMD results and the cheaters are gonna be making more money than longs who have endured the roller coaster ride. Anyway, good drug = happy patients.

    • It could be a leak in AMD, but I think starting the second cohort of the ASONEP trail after 8 weeks of the first cohort. The second cohort would only be enrolled if 12 of 22 had progression free survival after the first 8 weeks in the first cohort. More people would know results for that open-label study.

"LT1009-Onc-002 is a Phase 2a open-label, multi-center study designed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of ASONEP (sonepcizumab/LT1009) monotherapy in subjects with advanced, unresectable, refractory RCC who have previously failed up to 3 therapies, including VEGF and/or mTOR inhibitors. Two cohorts will be enrolled for a total of up to 39 subjects. Subjects will receive an intravenous (IV) infusion of ASONEP™ over 90 minutes at 15 mg/kg once a week and progression-free survival (PFS) will be assessed after 8 weeks of treatment. Cohort 1 will enroll approximately 22 subjects. A second cohort of up to 17 subjects will be enrolled if at least 12 out of 22 subjects from Cohort 1 demonstrated PFS at 8 weeks. Weekly dosing will take place from the date of randomization until the date of first documented progression or date of death from any cause, whichever comes first."

      • Could Isonep be an anti-depressant?

That somehow occurred in my weirdly wired brain, and when I googled it, lo and behold; there have been papers on the subject. There is one entitled "Depressing Sphingolipids". And in another, "After induction of anxiety-like behavior in animal models, higher serum levels of S1P were reported to lead to neurodegeneration. Correspondingly, S1P infusion appeared to increase anxiety-like behavior". Kind of scary, really.

I feel like doubling my position. Or more...but I'm just not a big gambler.

    • I hope you're right, loose lips can sink ships or cause stocks to blow up in a good way.
There was a stock that took off not long ago when some of the patients in the study talked about how great they were doing and the news reported it.
Good Drug = Me happy too
