<<You seem to have a lot of time on your hands, my goofy friend. so, please give us a list of your projections for Avid profits over the next 5 years.>>
Hmmm, let's count the posts for the past two months and see who seems to have a lot of time on his hands. We won't even count all of your aliases, sugarr. Why don't you just cover your short and move on? You've proved you don't understand this stock. Good luck in '03.
Avid : $26 if Q4 turns out to be a great one
Sugar_loser : $0 He already lost and is just pouting now
Dont be such a sour loser. Your formula does not work and you do not know squat about this stock or market.
This is what I posted...YOU can not read
"Avid invented this market (Non linear editing) back in the late 80's so they hold a TON of related patents."
I HOPE you short on a 15% pullback...oh I hope you do it. You will continue to be a loser in every way.
Whats the problem Sugarr_bonehead? Someone asked what technology Avid has patents on and I told them. Are you getting scared sugar? COVER YOUR SHORT BEFORE YOU LOSE IT ALL.
My comment was clearly a rebuttal to iman's post that Avid's patents originated in the 80s. Are you stupid, or just can't read either?
So, if you have an 80s patent (I never said Avid did or didnt'), then it is expired. Do you disagree?
How come you didn't jump on your girlfriend iman?
You seem to have a lot of time on your hands, my goofy friend. so, please give us a list of your projections for Avid profits over the next 5 years.
You have one don't you?
If you don't provide the list, we will all know you are a lying management shill bent on double-talk and no substance.
Come on, some simple numbers EVERY investor has at his finger tips.
Being a managment shill, providing numbers could land you in jail if they are faked...remember that.
"Oh, and the gentleman who mentioned avid's
100s of patents from the 80s either doesn't
realize they have all expired . . . "
First off, Avid was founded in 1989, IIRC.
All of their patents are from 1990 or later.
A quick perusal of Delphion shows that Avid
has well over 100 patents - NOT ONE of
them has expired.
". . . or are at best obsolete"
Let's examine this. Here's the number of new
patents for Avid in the last five years:
2002 - 25
2001 - 25
2000 - 32
1999 - 18
1998 - 18
C'mon sugar_crybaby, if you're going to lie,
at least stay away from areas that are so
easily debunked. It's like shooting fish in

Your correct, what I should have wrote was:
Avid invented the market (NLE) back in the 80's and CONTINUES to dominate new technology in said market. Anyone who knows the products knows that they have been evolving ever since NLE began..and that evolution continues to be led by Avid.
"Yes Avid hold 100's of patents. Avid invented this market (Non linear editing) back in the late 80's so they hold a TON of related patents."
80s tech is obsolete, period.
You said it, not me.
I hope everyone on this board (including the "Grinch" known as sugarr_dude_fica_sal_whatever) has a great holiday! This has been a nice run and I am personally extremely bullish on Avid and the US economy in general for 03. We are going to have a fantastic year in 03 and after this last one WE DESERVE IT!
Best of luck and regards.
