sell orders stacking up
asks just moved above yesterday's close by 2 cents.........bids are below 21.60.......price can be walked up in 100 share increments for a positive close......all with hundreds of thousands of shares selling off throughout the day........this distribution is art.
Cudos to all MMs; after all it's Darwin's theory....pigeons were born to be plucked......why should what Mother Nature created be outlawed?
This should not be against the law. It's legal and should remain so. You cannot pass laws to prevent people from being stupid.

If you are talking about the aquisition of "iknowledge", I just looked at it and it was a TINY aquisition. I did not find any terms but this was a very small VC funded company and I must believe it was a tecnology purchase as oposed to an "Aquisition".

Don't get too excited over this deal. Gannett was already an Avid customer. Where are the new accounts?

Avid never explained the details of its recent acquisition, a material event, but seems to issue press release after press release concerning every pencil it sells.
Over the past decade, firms doing this kind of selective self promotion have often been in trouble.
Now I'm not saying Avid's in trouble, but I don't understand why it is constantly issuing press releases that focus on trivia and completely ignore important events - like its recent purchase.
I'd still like to know what financial impact this acquisition will have. -

Come on, you expect sugarr_dud to compare? He's already behind. If he were the true investing legend he dreams he is, he would have made money on both sides.
He's already missed half! He keeps harping on the manipulation by MM. You know I've seen it before also, but I've also seen legitimate rises and you can't tell until it is over.
