In case you weren't aware, semper = sugarr = shinbone. He's been using these foolish tactics for four months as he tries to recoup his losses from a poorly timed short in early November. Another $2 drop in Avid will get him to even. He's a loser. Most here have put him on Ignore -- that's why you don't see many responses to his silly posts (except when he answers himself).
You are completely wrong about Sugarr. But since you decided to chime in, please explain to us mere mortals what it is about Sugarr's superb posts that you find "silly".
Yes, I'm challenging you to explain just what he has said, most of which is extremely bright and insightful, that you personally find incorrect, a lie, or just plain wrong.
PROVE WHAT YOU'VE JUST POSTED, ESPECIALLY THE PART ABOUT SUGARR HAVING SHORTED IN THE TEENS. EVERYONE HERE WHO HAS READ HIS POSTS KNOWS HE IS ANTI-AVID, WHY HE IS ANTI-AVID, AND THAT HE DID NOT SHORT IN A UP MARKET. YOU ARE A BOLD-FACED LIAR. I'M UPSET BECAUSE I GENUINELY BELIEVE YOU ARE PART OF A MANAGEMENT LED CONSPIRACY TO STEAL MONEY FROM HONEST INVESTORS. GO AHEAD: SUE ME, SHILL IF I'M LYING. I DARE YOU. DO IT SHILL!
I will not hold my breath waiting for a reply you clearly don't have the aptitude to write.
How dare you, a DTV alias, lie about Sugarr. He is not using aliases, you are. You lie, and you are probably a company paid hypster. You have never offered anything of substance here, just finger pointing and conspiracy theories.
And while I'm at it: since management is involved in faking the numbers and slanting CCs, how is it you have never commented on these genuine matters of concern? How is it, you have never listened to the CC? How is it, you point fingers at one of the only honest investors posting on this board.
Sugarr is an old friend of mine from the Ancor board. We go way back.
I've met countless shills like you before. If you are directly or indirectly related to Avid; if you have access to inside information about this scam: You belong in handcuffs for the damage you've done. When this company drops below $5, you just might learn a real lesson about investing.
Most investors serious about Avid are posting in the Avid Group, right now. This group was formed by Sal Lucania months ago. Anyone can participate by invitation only. The best minds are there this AM; those who offer nothing of value are not allowed in.
If you are not a shill or hypster, and have demonstrated a clear head, you may get an invitation. Accept it, you won't be disappointed.
the first major distribution day for this stock was on 1-27-03. Volume was 2,938,389. Today was the second major distribution day at 3,075,694 volume. But note on these days the stock closed lower, not higher.
Without a doubt, you will be a bagholder.
How do you not know semper=sugarr=shinbone did not average up in his shorts?
I did. I came out a winner.
However, I left money on the table. I blew it. I should have not bought back today as early as I did.
But, there's always tomorrow.
Provided, of course, the dam MM's don't really gap this thing down on Monday?????????????????????????????????????????
Well then, we're both winners. I'm holding no bags or shares. All of my shares went at the following prices (in order) $17, $19.43, $20.99 and $23.56. Average price of the shares was about $10.75. I blew it too by selling the first 500 at $17, but who knew this thing was going to hold above 20 into March? Greed kills. I'll start buying back somewhere under 14 when it looks like things have settled down. I don't expect to be lucky enough to acquire much in single digits, though. Once I've bought back, I'd look to take profits again by the middle of 2004. This is a good stock to trade.
I suspect sugarr will be back telling everyone that he shorted at $24.15 when Avid finds a floor. But who takes that loser seriously?
