AVID retained more value since 03/16/00

AVID retained more value than ADSK, MDEA, PCLE,
    and LBRT!

On March 16, 2000, Mr. Munster
recommended the following basket of stocks on the "US
Bankcorp Piper Jaffery Show" which at the time he
projected dramatic increases in future share
    prices.

    Avid Technology Inc
    Autodesk Inc.
    Media 100
    Inc.
    Pinnacle Systems Inc.
    Liberate
    Technologies

Based on Mr. Munster's recommendations, I created a
hypothetical tracking portfolio and invested approximately
$25,000 in each one of the following five stocks at the
closing price that was established March 16, 2000. As of
August 29, 2000, the value of Avid shares in comparison
to all the others shares remains the highest. It
should be noticed that all the shares recommended by Mr.
Muster on March 16, 2000 have dropped in share value BUT
as of August 29, 2000, AVID retained more of its
share value than Autodesk, Media, Pinnacle and
    Liberate!

    • How is your hypothetical Mr Munster portfolio
tracking after last week's performance by
      MDEA:
      http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=MDEA&d=5d

film: Zofteemazh won't be off the books until July '01,
      I'm afraid.

      DISCLOSURE:

      Short-term :
      too long
      Long-term : so long

      • On 09/01/00, AVID is still number one in share
        value retained since 03/16/00!

        cndwjdb, MDEA and
ADSK switched places by a hair on
        09/01/00!

cndwjdb,I thought you meant July 2001 and not July 2000 in
reference to the termination of prior restatement of
earnings. People on this board seem to forget that AVID
generates healthy revenues each year and among the basket
of five is second only to ADSK in yearly revenues.
Once the restatement of prior earnings have been
completely flushed, I expect to see an increase in earnings
from revenues in 2Q2001 and a "sharp" increase in
earnings from revenues in 3Q2001 which will return the
share price of AVID to the high $forties and
        beyond!

    • Thanks for the chuckle. I assume you're joking

that we shouldn't be concerned because Avid
      hasn't
lost quite as much value as the 4 other
      stocks in
      Munster's basket. Does Munster still
      have a job? Great
      picks, eh?

All in all, I'm hoping Avid recovers
      to the 20s
by the spring. That would be a
      dramatic enough
      increase for me.

    • Since when was losing the least the object of the
game. I got a real belly laugh from this
      A brain
dead corpse can still get a 15 point
      return in this
market. Instead of looking for value you are most likly
      looking for your stained undershorts!!!!!
