Northwest Biotherapeutics, Inc. Message Board

Little dose of reality for this board

There's a lot to be said about not only partnerships with other Pharma, but Institutional interest. (of which NWBO has minimal). I'm one of those fools who believe that similar to protecting the world from itself with our American Defense dollars, the majority of all drug development is paid for by the US consumer. The data is appearing to be made out of whole cloth. If no one on this board wants to look at the dearth of Pharmaceutical partners, and the amount of times your savior Linda has spent in promotion rather than science, I rarely want people to lose money, but you people may be candidates for deserving it. One more question, How many companies have been successful after reverse splitting their stock just to keep in compliance with listing requirements?

    Sentiment: Sell

    • Reality check bud! This is'nt about what longs/shorts/ competition amongst other companies. It is about saving/extending lives and giving hope to their families. Any biotech that can do this I root for. Sure the making of money is nice. In the end it is about people's lives. Everbody stop the petty bickering!

    • A pre-mature arrangement with a Big Pharma partner (and we know they are no angels) can end up forfeiting a sizable portion of the revenue from a promising pipleine. NWBO would be in a much stronger negotiiating position if they bring concrete, advanced results to the table. Also, the partners they have aren't exactly novices in cancer. It isn't one partner either, but 3 across Germany and the UK. Plus oncologists and researchers.

It is also for the first time in many years that they are in a position to execute their pipeline with cash at the bank.

NWBO, if anything was absent from the media for most of 2012. Can you please list out the many instances where Linda has been pumping the stock ?

Also, after the conversion of outsanding debt and payables, to equity, Linda and Cognate have more skin in the game than ever before.

      • Premature??? According to all of the sycophants on this board, this is a miracle cure and Pharma is too stupid to appreciate it. I promise you that if there were anything to this data that they are trying to pawn off, someone would be sniffing at their door. Linda has her hands in two entities that she earns a living off of and a reasonable person might think that there is a slight conflict of interest? Not this board though. Study the "Halo Complex" and ask yourself if it doesn't remind you of someone you know? (Or don't)

    • Why would we expect Ms Powers, the CEO and a venture capitalist by background, to spend any significant time on science? That's what Drs. Boynton and Bosch are for. Ms Power's job is to keep the company solvent and operating until the trials complete, hopefully on a positive note.

      • That is exactly right dwiggd I am from Seattle Wa. and Dr. boynton is regaurded as one of the smartest scientist in the world. We are lucky to have his expertise on the team. I would much rather have him than these two clowns who showed up today. They might want to research Dr. Boynton background. He also founded the Fred Hutchins Cancer Center this seems to have been left out in the past news. GLTA
